Brushroll does not spin

Symptoms

The vacuum is on, but the roller at the bottom is not turning. The nozzle light may be red or off.

🛠How to Fix It

  1. Immediately turn off the vacuum.
  2. Remove any string, carpet fibers, or hair wrapped around the brushroll (use scissors if needed).
  3. Ensure the handheld vacuum is tilted back far enough to engage the brushroll.
  4. Disconnect and reattach the wand and floor nozzle to ensure a solid electrical connection.
  5. If vacuuming area rugs, make sure you are not using Boost mode.
