Brushroll does not spin
Symptoms
The vacuum is on, but the roller at the bottom is not turning. The nozzle light may be red or off.

- Immediately turn off the vacuum.
- Remove any string, carpet fibers, or hair wrapped around the brushroll (use scissors if needed).
- Ensure the handheld vacuum is tilted back far enough to engage the brushroll.
- Disconnect and reattach the wand and floor nozzle to ensure a solid electrical connection.
- If vacuuming area rugs, make sure you are not using Boost mode.
